On April 7, 2008 the Kingsville- Perry Hall Rotary Club welcomed new members Mary Trotta and Pat Dreja. Past District Governor Pat Kasuda inducted Mary and Pat as the newest members of the club. Pat Dreja recently moved to the area. Pat was an active member and president-elect of a Rotary Club in New Jersey. Mary became interested in Rotary after retiring from Baltimore County Schools as an English teacher. Mary has an avid interest in gardening and was the recipient of the Baltimore Sun's 2007 Best overall Garden award. Mary's enthusiasm to promote literacy in the area will be a valuable asset to the club's annual reading programs and dictionary project. |

On February 4th, 2008, the club learned a great deal from club Sargeant at Arms Ron Lassahn during his presentation on the Robert's Rules of Order. Ron's experience as a business owner and board member at a local financial institution enabled him to effectively train the club on Robert's Rules.
